Oaklea is a working farm in the mountains of the Scenic Rim, close to the Main Range National Park and Queen Mary Falls. The Condamine River begins in the mountains nearby. There are spectacular mountain views from all the accommodation.Oaklea is ideally located for relaxation or sightseeing, bushwalking, photography, bird watching or mountain bike riding. Being in the mountains, Oaklea is cooler than the lowlands in the summertime and in the winter the star seem just that much closer! Comfortable accommodation is available in the homestead, or in two self-contained cottages, sleeping one to seven people. A light breakfast is included in the tariff, but if guests prefer to bring their own, the tariff is reduced accordingly.For longer stay they have substantial discounts.Oaklea is only a two-hour drive from Brisbane or the Gold Coast, over scenic mountain roads, as you get closer.
