Montes Reef Resort at Gloucester Passage via Hydeaway Bay is situated about 40 kilometres north of Airlie Beach at the most northern part of the Whitsundays.
It is secluded and somewhat isolated but accessible by all types of vehicles. It has an all tide sandy beach, facing north and with spectacular views of Gloucester Island and the mainland.
